CA polls to be held on time: Shah

Kathmandu, January 5:
Minister of State for General Administration Dharma Nath Shah said the election to the constituent assembly would take place on schedule if the CPN-Maoist cooperate with the government.
Speaking at a symposium on the Role of Civil Administration in the Development of Democratic Nepal, organised by the Nepal Youth Society here today, Shah said the government was moving forward with the determination to conduct CA polls and consolidate democracy by restoring peace. He stressed on the need to change the old structure in the civil administration as it could not fulfill the aspirations of public.
On the occasion, Chief of the Dairy Development Corporation Dr Bajra Kishor Prasad Shah, Director of the Internal Revenue Department Bishnu Prasad Nepal, Deputy Governor of the Nepal Rastra Bank Bir Bikram Rayamajhi, Chief of the Land Survey Office No 6 Narayan Chaudhari, Chief of the Metropolitan Police Circle, Maharajgunj Sushil Kumar Bhandari and Chief of National Sex and Health Communication Center Krishna Raj Giri were honoured.
