Kathmandu, January 10:

The family members of persons who died from the cold wave would get assistance on the basis of decision made by the District Disaster Relief Committee under set standards.

The meeting of Central Disaster Relief Committee, held under Chairmanship of Minister for Home Affairs, made the decision, said a press release from the the Home Ministry.

The Ministry has urged all institutions and organisations including Nepal Red Cross, Village Development Committees (VDCs), Municipalities and District Development Committees (DDCs) to help people in protecting their lives from cold wave.
