KATHMANDU: Combining their love for cycling with a noble cause, 10 young people will be embarking on a seven-day tour on January 26. The theme of their tour is ‘Save wildlife, save rhinos’.
Says Biswa Maskey of the group, “All of us are living beings and we feel that we should do something about our endangered wildlife.”
The team will travel to Hetauda from Kathmandu, and then cycle on to Sauraha. On the third day, Maskey says they will be in Narayanghat and try to spread the awareness of the campaign that they are on.
“We will spend the day in Naranghat market place and do our best to raise the awareness of the local people about the importance of wildlife.” The ten persons venturing on this tour are members of the Tussita Cycling Club and the tour is supported by Gemini Supermarket.
