Pashupati win

KATHMANDU: Pashupati Campus crushed Welhams College 6-2 in the third Kwik’s Cup Inter-college Football Tournament on Saturday. Suren Lama struck a hat-trick while Ramesh Basnet scored two and Tirtha Lama added one for Pashupati. Man of the match Niraj Karki and Pravin Raut scored for Welhams. Sunil Shrestha scored one and Mandip Rai conceded an own goal as KIST beat Ratanchha Sakela Higher Secondary School 2-0 in another match. In the last game, Einstein College defeated Jagat Mandir College 2-0 on goals from Ram Rai and Avinash Rai. — HNS

KCC Running Trophy

KATHMANDU: Kantipur City College is organising the fourth KCC Inter-college Cricket Running Trophy at the Birendra Sainik Awasiya Mahavidhyalaya grounds in Bhaktapur from Sunday. In all, 12 teams are taking part in the competition. Hosts KCC ‘blue’ will take on College of Information Technology in the inaugural match on Sunday. The final is scheduled for February 11. — HNS
