Ever since meeting the football star Cristiano Ronaldo in Lisbon in July, Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu has been in touch with him.

Just a few months back, Bipasha had sent the rumour mills in overdrive when pictures of what looked like her planting a peck on Ronaldo’s cheek began circulating on the Internet. That mini controversy also sparked rumours of her “split” with beau John Abraham . Of course, now we know all those were just rumours.

However, the controversy hasn’t deterred Bips from keeping in touch with Ronaldo.

Reports have it that Bipasha has sent feelers to Ronaldo to shoot a promo for her upcoming film Goal which is based on football.

Bipasha has already spoken about ‘Goal’ with Ronaldo in detail and he has expressed interest in the film.

“I had requested him to say few things on the film for Indian audience, but let’s see if we can manage to do it,” Bipasha is quoted by Times Of India.

‘Goal’ stars John Abraham and Arshad Warsi as two footballers in a team of underdogs. Bipasha Basu plays the team’s medic. The film is directed by Vivek Agnihotri .
