Kathmandu, February 26:
A group of six armed persons looted Rs 50,000 from the Lash Kush Service Centre, a petrol pump at Gangabu, last night, police said. The group attacked Sher Bahadur Tamang, security guard of the pump, overpowered other staffers, broke cash drawers and decamped with the money.
“They decamped with around Rs 50,000,” Purushottam Manandhar, owner of the petrol pump, told police.
Tamang is undergoing treatment at the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, police said, adding that they are investigating the incident.
