Narayangarh, February 28:

The police today identified six more persons killed in a bus mishap at Darechowk VDC near Dahaki river in Chitwan district on the Prithvi highway on Monday night.

According to the Chitwan District Police Office (DPO), those identified today are Birendra Shah, 30, and Dhruv Patel, 39, of Motihari, India; Yogendra Jaiswal, 42, of Birgunj sub-metropolis-6; Man Singh Chaudhari of Birgunj; Jitendra Prasad Rajak, 19, of Rautahat and Rajendra Kumar Shrestha, 32, of Jitpur village development committee in Bara.

Earlier, the authorities had identified nine dead persons.

Thirteen persons were killed on the spot while two others died undergoing treatment in different hospitals, police said.
