Tanahun, March 3 :

Two persons were killed when a truck skidded off the road and plunged into Ruwa river at Abukhaireni on the Abukhaireni-Mungling road section of the Prithvi Highway this morning. The dead persons are yet to be identified. The critically injured truck driver Anil Chaudhari of Kalaiya, Simara was rushed to Pokhara for treatment, police said.

A report from Kavre said eight persons were injured in two accidents on Araniko Highway today. Six persons were hurt when a mini truck met with an accident near Pachaskilo. In another incident, two persons were critically hurt when a container van hit a motorbike at Pachaskilo.
