Activists of the Jay Krishna Goit-led Janatantrik Terai Mukti Morcha (JTMM) today issued death threat to family members of a youth.

JTMM activists had abducted Deependra Rai, 20, the son of Himal Sher Rai of Triyuga municipality-2, from Bhagwanpur of Siraha on Wednesday and released him four hours later after taking ransom of Rs 1 lakh.

They also snatched a mobile phone from him before releasing him.

According to the Rai family, the JTMM activists phoned in their residence and warned the family members that they will kill them all if the sim-card is not reopened.

“We are tense after JTMM activists threatened to kill us all,” Himal Sher Rai said. The Rai family has also filed a complaint at the police office.
