Bhairahawa, March 19:
Nepali and Indian police personnel today foiled an attempt by the Madhesi Janaadhikar Forum cadres to shut the Bhairahawa customs point.
Nepal Police and the Sima Surakshya Bal of India stopped MJF cadres, who were heading towards the customs point from the Indian side of Sunauli, at the Dasgaja area and prevented them from forcing closure of the customs point.
Hundreds of Maoist cadres also reached the customs point to counter the move of the MJF cadres after they came to know about the incident. There was no clash.
