Minister of State for Information and Communication Dilendra Prasad Badu said Maoist atrocities exist as Maoist cadres are not under the control of their leaders.

He said the Maoist leadership is dissatisfied with the conduct of party cadres. “I talked with Maoist friends this morning, the situation has not yet got under their control,” Badu said.

Badu who arrived to inaugurate Pindeshwor Ardhakumbha Fair in Barahakshetra in Sunsari expressed such views talking to journalists today. He expressed the hope that there will be early end to Maoist atrocities and the atmosphere for the formation of an interim government will be made.
