KATHMANDU: The Sagarmatha Pariwar (SP), an organisation of Nepalis in South Korea, on Sunday handed over Rs 100,005 to Maiti Nepal (MN). Ex-president of SP Shyam Chyantyal and secretary Dependra Kumar Century handed over the money to Biswo Ram Khadka, the MN director. — HNS

Envoy’s emphasis

KATHMANDU: Korean ambassador to Nepal, Hwang Yong Hwan, has emphasised on the need for understanding among the leadership of the judiciary, people and political parties, for a prosperous Nepal and for establishment of lasting peace. He was speaking at a discussion on ‘Role of donors in establishment of lasting peace’ organised by Sanchar Samuha Nepal here on Sunday. — RSS
