KATHMANDU:

The most awaited event of the year is almost upon us, and the organisers have done a lot to ensure that the Dabur Vatika Miss Nepal 2007 pageant is one that will be remembered for a long time to come.

Scheduled to be held on April 7 at the Birendra International Convention Centre (BICC), the event will also be telecast live on Nepal Television (NTV).

The fans and audience are in for a treat that day as many popular artistes will share the stage with the 19 finalists of the contest. The contestants will walk the ramp while singers like Nalina Chitrakar, Cine Gurung, Juna Prasai, Mingma Sherpa, Saroj Dutta and Rajan Ishan will charm the guests with their performances.

To choose the ‘New Face for New Nepal’, the panel of judges reads like the who’s who of Nepal — Rajesh Hamal, Bhola Thapa, Jyotsana Singh, Radhesh Pant, Bhushan Dahal, Malvika Subba, Chandi Raj Dhakal, Dr Neil Pandey, Sapana Thapa and Raveena Joshi. Dabur Vatika is the main sponsor of the pageant, which is organised by Hidden Treasure in association with JCI.
