BoK projects 20pc growth

Kathmandu, April 17:

Bank of Kathmandu (BoK) has projected a growth in its operating profit by 20 per cent for the current fiscal year, ending mid-July 2007.

Based on the bank’s performance up to the third quarter, BoK today made a new projection in its operating profit. The bank had earned an operating profit of Rs 400 million in the last fiscal, while the third quarter’s profit stood at Rs 333.6 million, said Radhesh Panta, managing director at BoK.

He also disclosed that the bank’s deposits have risen to Rs 12.03 billion as of mid-April from Rs 10.49 billion of the last fiscal.
