Kathmandu, April 25:
Laxmi Bank has opened its ninth branch in Pokhara. The new branch is located within the premises of Pokhara Industrial District (PID), Kundahar.
“It is expected to provide banking services to the industries within PID as well as adjoining commercial and residential areas of Ram Bazaar, Amarshing Chowk and Bajapatan,” states a bank press release here.
This is the bank’s fourth new branch in last six months and second in the Pokhara valley. “Although we actively promote the usage of remote banking channels such as internet and SMS banking, we are also increasing our distribution footprints to augment our suites of products and services as part of our ‘bricks and clicks’ strategy,” says Suman Joshi, chief executive officer, Laxmi Bank.
