The second edition of Yamaha Maha Mela — an integrated fair of sales, service, finance and exchange of Yamaha motorbikes — kicked off here at the Bhrikuti Mandap exhibition hall today.
The four-day long event, which the organisers claim to be the only of its kind, will last till May 5 and offers sales, service, finance and exchange facilities together with fun-filled games and music.
The event is further divided into four different categories — Maha Sale, Maha Service, Maha Exchange and Maha Fun. Sale of Yamaha motorbikes are available with attractive financial schemes at an initial down payment of 10 per cent, said Sushil Shrestha, marketing manager at MAW. “11 different finance companies are offering finan-cing service on the spot,” he informed.
On top of that new Yamaha customer will get a scratch coupon and win up to Rs 100,000 and free membership to Yamaha Club.
MAW is also offering 50 per cent discount each on Yamalube engine oil and service charges during the event, and 10 per cent off on Yamaha spare parts and one additional free service coupon. Free bike check up will be available by Yamaha engineers from India and the servicing will be done by trained technicians, Shrestha added.
The Yamaha Club members will get additional 100 points advantage just on registration at the venue.
Under the Maha Exchange, facility to exchange for any old bike with a new Yamaha bike with a guaranteed minimum valuation of Rs 10,000 is available.
All available Yamaha models such as new Gladiator Black J A type, Gladiator, Yamaha Enticer, G5, Fazer, and Crux can be exchanged with any old bikes. Altogether 17 recondition houses are taking part in the event, Shrestha said.
