Hashish haul: 3 held

KATHMANDU: Police arrested two Polish nationals on Tuesday and a Briton on Wednesday with a total of 15.13 kg hashish. Pawel Maciezszy Zyszka, 34, and Andrej Knysrtat Grela, 36, with Polish passports, were arrested with 7.5 kg hashish each while they were trying to fly to Hong Kong on Tuesday. Adam Andrew Gordon Honson, 47, was arrested on Wednesday with 130 grams of hashish, while he was trying to fly to Bangkok. — HNS

ECR FM padlocked

Lalitpur: Staffers of the Environmental Circle Radio FM (ECR FM) on Thursday locked the FM station for over an hour. SB Thapa Magar of ECR FM unit, Radio Ganatantric Radiokarmi Manch Nepal, said staff padlocked the station from 12.45 pm to 2.15 pm after management turned a deaf ear to their demands. — HNS

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Madhesi Students’ Front (NMSF) is organising its national meeting on May 12 and 13. The NMSF said on Thursday it will launch fresh protests for the ‘complete liberation’ of Madhes. — HNS
