Kathmandu, May 14:

The Chure Bhavar Ekta Samaj-Nepal today condemned Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Rajendra Mahato for delivering an ‘objectionable speech’ at a programme in Birgunj three days ago.

A press release issued by Samaj president Keshav Prasad Mainali said Mahato’s remark

that “the people of hill origin will be forced to leave Madhes and the vacated area will be filled by Madhesis” was highly explosive and it

provoked “communal hatred” and “disintegration”. Mainali also demanded that the government take action against the minister for disturbing communal harmony.
