Siraha, May 21:

Cadres of the pro-Maoist Young Communist League (YCL) yesterday took under control two persons for their alleged role in robberies on the Mahendra Highway and handed them over to the police.

A pistol was found from their possession and they were handed over to police, said YCL district in-charge Jagat. YCL cadres apprehended two persons who were involved in robberies and brought them to Asanpur police office. Looters Govinda Yadav, Jibachchha Bishwokarma and Birendra Mahato were also held in Asanpur.
