Thousands of audiences thronged the grounds at Kalika Secondary School, Butwal on May 28 without a care for the hot to listen to singers belt out their popular numbers at the Mero Mobile live concert.

The audience “No” to Mausami Gurung’s, “Hello, Namaste Butwal. Are you feeling warm?” set the tone for the concert.

She sang new songs like Aappa ki akli mai chhori, Bharkhar ki kanya kumari, Ko hola yo jyan laijane from her upcoming album. The crowd went wild when she sang Maichyang Hai Maichyang with Kranti Ale.

Talking to this daily, one of the members of the audience Dansi Ram Panthi said, “I am enjoying the concert.”

Singers Nima Rumba, Preeti Kair, Anil Singh and Adrian wowed the crowd with their romantic numbers.

Brand manager of Mero Mobile, Sanat Sharma said, “We had expected around 15,000 to attend the concert, however, 12,000 turned up for the show.”

Sharma said another concert is scheduled in Biratnagar too.
