Kathmandu, June 10:
The Federation of Nepalese National Transport Entrepreneurs (FNNTE) today demanded that the government provide compensation for the seven vehicles vandalised and damaged on June 9.
A statement issued here by the transport body said the government should provide compensation for the vehicles damaged during insurgency and strikes on different days. “We also appeal to the government to provide compensation for the vehicles vandalised during Jana Andolan-II and the vehicles torched in road accidents,” said the statement.
Tax should be exempted and bank loans be waived for the vehicles seized by the Nepal Army during the Dang attack by the Maoists.
