KATHMANDU:

The Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematics (MAAC) is organising a career seminar on June 16 at the Tripureswore Party Palace, United World Trade Centre. The seminar is meant for those interested in 3D animation.

The guest speaker at the seminar is Jasmeet Singh, who has a Masters’ degree in Animation and Multimedia and is the technical head (West) at MAAC. He began his career with his own venture developing portals and sites that also won the Best Agency award from Verisign. He joined the Kellick Challenger Technologies as an R and D specialist before joining MAAC.

The career seminar focuses on the youth, people interested in 3D animation and those who are already working in the field of 3D animation. The seminar will look into various aspects of making a 3D movie like the processes involved, how can one start building a career in this field, among others.

MAAC is a pioneer in 3D animation and visual effects, focused exclusively on grooming specialists for the animation industry.
