The Western world is going crazy over the magical date of 070707. While you may not be so into all that mumbo-jumbo, here’s a smooth way to get into seventh heaven. Shake up a drink that in the cocktail world is known as Seventh Heaven and raise a toast to all that is deemed lucky.

You will need

• 1 1/2 ounce gin

• 2 teaspoons grapefruit juice

• 1 teaspoon Maraschino cherry

• 1 sprig mint

Now shake all ingredients (except mint sprig) with ice and strain into a cocktail glass. Add the sprig of mint and serve.
