Matsumoto Tekunori, a Japanese national contributing in international publicity of Nepali culture, traditions and tourism by writing books, was honoured on Sunday. Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Prithvi Subba Gurung honoured Tekunori by offering a shawl and a letter of felicitation at a function organised by the People’s Welfare Society. Tekunori has published two books — The Third Journey and The Back Bone — on Nepali culture, traditional values, tourist destinations and their importance.
