Rs 28m grant for school

Kathmandu, August 20:

The government of India has provided grant assistance of Rs 28 million for the construction of a new building of the Mukti Secondary School in Pyuthan.

At a public function held today, counsellor Pranay Verma, on behalf of the Indian Ambassador, laid the foundation stone for the building, stated an Indian embassy statement said.

Conveying the message of the Indian Ambassador, Verma reiterated India’s commitment to extend all possible assistance to Nepal. He underlined the importance of education.
