Tribeni Chhoti Customs in Nawalparasi has collected only Rs 1,020 revenue within the past seven years. The revenue collection was affected when the Indian Border Security Forces barred people to import goods through this custom office, said Mane Bahadur Gaha, a staff of the office. Five staffers were deployed in this Chhoti customs office. However, only a peon is running the office at present. The office used to collect over Rs 2.5 million revenue monthly, seven years ago.
