According to a press release issued by Orbit group it has recently started Orbit International College (OIC), affiliated to Tribhuvan University, with its Bachelors programme in Humanities and Social Science at Putalisadak. It is currently taking in students for it three years Bachelors programme.
OIC will be providing quality-learning experience supported by state of art infrastructure and necessary educational materials. The college has well trained and qualified faculty members. To give their students an edge over others they will be providing opportunities for them to get practical experience through internships and international exchange.
Their academic progra-mmes include, sociology and anthropology, rural development, English literature and Buddhism studies. Their non-academic programmes include music, fine arts, yoga and meditation. OIC claims to be the first to offer distance-learning program for Tribhuvan University affiliated academic courses. Students can download reference materials and notes online as well. Students who have completed their grade 12 education or proficiency certificate level from any recognized university can apply for the BA programme. Students will be admitted on the basis of merit and entrance exam conducted by OIC.
