Kathmandu, September 16:
Physically disabled children today handed over a painting they made to Speaker Subas Nembang and demanded right to education.
It is the biggest painting made by the physically disabled children in Nepal and was hung in the meeting hall of the parliament secretariat.
The painting demonstrates the need for accessibility to education among all children to make Nepal a more powerful, developed and prosperous country. The painting also urges the authorities concerned to make arrangement for disabled-friendly schools and teachers and for dignified inclusive education to encourage the physically disabled.
The paintings reflect the condition of their mates who are deprived of education and also dipict how their families, friends and society humiliate them for their disabilities.
