Three players each from Nepal’s Mahendra Police Club and Kyrgyzstan’s Dordoi-Dynamo are in contention for the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award of the AFC President’s Cup. The two teams will fight for the title on Sunday.
MPC’s Jumanu Rai, captain Ramesh Budhathoki and goalkeeper Ritesh
Thapa, who played stellar roles in their team’s progress to the final are favourites to win the award for the Nepali side.
Roman Kornilov could get the award for the second successive year. Dordoi goalkeeper Valerii Kashuba and Andrey Krasnov are also in the fray.
