KATHMANDU: Without Anger-Nepal (SWAN) on Saturday launched two different books consisting of guidelines for anger management for teachers and students. Launching the books, Prof Dr AP Regmi said anger management plays a crucial role in our lives. “Violence is triggered by anger and if we can curb anger, peace is inevitable,” Regmi said. Dean Leuven, an expert on anger management, has written the books. — HNS
Workshop on epilepsy
KATHMANDU: Participants at a workshop on ‘Paediatric Epilepsy’ on Saturday highlighted the ignorance of people on the disease. “Over 80 per cent cases of child epilepsy are completely curable,” said paediatrician Dr Nandita Bajaj. “It can be controlled with medicine in case of severity,” she said. The workshop was attended by around 125 Nepali, Australian, Japanese, Malaysian and Indian doctors. — HNS
