House debate on Maoist proposals deferred

Kathmandu, October 14:
Speaker Subas Nembang today deferred the parliamentary debate on the two motions filed by the CPN-Maoist.
The parliamentary discussion on the Maoist motions related to declaring the country a republic and holding election on the basis of all-out proportional represenation in the constituent assembly will be held in the parliament at 11.00 am on Tuesday, Speaker Nembang announced today soon after the House had convened.
