Kathmandu, November 3:

Deepak Bista won the bronze medal at the third Korean Open International Taekwondo Championship on Saturday.

The three-time South Asian Games gold medallist and two-time Asiad bronze medallist Bista defeated a Ghanian player and lost to an Iranian in the below 80kg category in the semi-final. Ganesh Khadka beat an US player but lost to a Yamen player.

On Friday, Manita Shahi, Ayesha Shakya and Padma Gurung lost their respective bouts.
