A four-day-long organic cultivation training concluded in Thimi today. The training was organised under the auspices of the District Agriculture Office, Bhaktapur, and the Madhyapur Thimi municipality. Some 24 persons were trained at the training held with the view to encouraging farmers towards organic cultivation, emphasising the use of compost and organic fertilisers instead of chemical fertilisers.

The knowledge obtained during the training should be utilised in promoting agricultural growth, said executive officer Madhu Sudan Paudel.
