Maoist and YCL cadres today grabbed three houses and land belonging to former royal regime minister Kamal Thapa in Makawanpur.

A team of cadres led by the Maoists’ Makwanpur district committee hoisted their party flag atop Thapa’s two-storey house near Kantirajpath in Hetauda municipality. They also seized his 11 katthas of land and two other houses in Bhairwa Tole of Hetauda municipality-5. of remaining silent on

the issue of nationalising the property of such individuals.
