Maoists capture NC leader’s house

Okhaldhunga, November 25:
Cadres of the CPN-Maoist today seized the house of a Nepali Congress leader and chairman of Yasam VDC, Okhaldunga district, Megh Bahadur Karki.
Maoist cadres led by their Okhaldhunga district committee member and area in-charge Suresh Thapa ‘Itikas’ barged into Karki’s house, bundled out his children Raju and Urmila and padlocked the house. The Maoist cadres also butchered a goat from the pen near the house. Before grabbing Karki’s house, the Maoists attacked NC leader Dev Bahadur Shrestha, leaving him seriously injured.
