KATHMANDU:

The Informal Sector Service Centre (INSEC) has expressed serious concern about the reports of Maoist People’s Liberation Army (PLA) personnel celebrating the PLA Day along with arms and combat dress at the main camp of the PLA’s sixth division at Shaktikhor of Chitwan on Sunday. In a press release issued by the INSEC on Monday, it said the demonstration in combat dress of arms violated the peace accord signed between the Maoists and the government last year. Drawing the attention of CPN-Maoist and the Joint Verification Team towards the incident, INSEC has called on all not to repeat such incidents in the future.
