Janakpur, December 8:

A team of special security task force led by police inspector Ramprakash Chaudhari arrested six persons with arms in Janakpur municipality last night.

Police arrested Mathwar Mukhiya, Santosh Kumar Karna and Binod Kumar Shah alias Kale, Bibek Jha, Nabin Shah and Ramu Khatwe. All of them are from Janakpur.

The police also seized two pistols, six bullets, six mobile phone sets and Rs 19,000 cash from them.

A report from Siraha said police arrested Ananda Mahaseth (22) of Siraha-2 with a bullet of M-60 rifle from Bariyarpatti VDC of the district last night.

Meanwhile, a release issued in Kathmandu by the APF headquarters said AFP units arrested 16 persons from across the country with arms yesterday.
