Kathmandu, January 11:
Former prime minister Surya Bahadur Thapa today said Kamal Thapa’s decision to quit his faction would not make any difference. “It is his decision and I have nothing to comment,” Thapa told reporters after a programme in the capital today. It should be noted that former minister Kamal Thapa in a statement yestserday had announced that he would no longer remain in the breakaway faction of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) led by Surya Bahadur Thapa.
Kamal Thapa was considered to be a close aide to former prime minister Surya Bahadur Thapa and that the former had cited some differences in the faction for his quitting.
