Introduction: Florida Atlantic University (FAU) has around 26,000 students on seven campuses and sites from 200 countries. At FAU it is not just a learning but a total living experience, its outstanding academic programs, exciting student activities, an perfect location makes it the right place for students.

FAU was opened as the first public university in southeast Florida in 1964, from the beginning FAU has pushed the bounds of higher education. Less than 50 years later, the University Students can choose from more than 170 degree programs, faculty researchers utilise more than 40 research centre.

Colleges: FAU’s colleges include the College of Architecture, Urban & Public Affairs, the Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts & Letters, the Barry Kaye College of Business, the College of Education, the College of Engineering, the Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing, the Charles E. Schmidt College of Science, the Charles E. Schmidt College of Biomedical Science and the Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College.

Research: FAU is earning a reputation as a top research institution in various subjects ranging from biomedicine and biotechnology to ocean engineering and coastline security. The University’s growing research parks are facilitating exciting new research and learning initiatives by bringing high-tech industries into close collaboration with faculty and students.

International students: Application deadlines: Fall - April 1, Spring - October 1 and Summer - March 1

Test Scores: Minimum TOEFL scores Written - 500, Computer- 173 and Internet - 61

Minimum IELTS score - 6.0

If you have attended any international high schools or universities, a translation and evaluation of work completed at each institution will be necessary.

Scholarships: All scholarships are available for Spring and Fall terms only. All scholarship application deadlines are March 1.

Residency: FAU offers housing for students, making access to all the University has to offer very convenient.
