Lamjung, January 28:

Farmers in Lamjung district are attracted to coffee farming, as they are easily generating annual income of Rs 25,000 to one lakh rupee.

A coffee farmer, Swotantra Hamal of Chakratirtha has been farming coffee for past ten years. “I have been earning one lakh rupee from the coffee farming every year,” he said, adding that there is no problem of market. “It takes a less effort also.”

Coffee can be planted with oranges, mangoes and bananas, farmers said.
