Nawalparasi, January 29:

The bandh called by the Madhesi Mukti Tigers today affected normal life in some districts of Tarai.

Following the bandh, transport service, educational institutions and markets in Parasi, the

district headquarters of Nawalparasi, were closed. However, long route vehicles plied on the Mahendra Highway.

Madhesi Mukti Tigers district in-charge Agni, in a statement, said the bandh will continue until Madhes is announced an autonomous region.
