Dhading, January 30:

The Dhading Transport Entrepreneurs’ Association, which had halted traffic yesterday saying that the private vehicles with red number plate ferried passengers, called off its agitation today.

The agitation was called off in the wake of Dhading Festival that will commence on February 4, DTEA general secretary Krishna Prasad Lamsal said. “The transport services were halted yesterday as the private vehicles were carrying passengers and the local administration was doing nothing on the matter,” Lamsal said.

A seven-member committee, coordinated by acting CDO Krishna Prasad Adhikari, has been formed to probe illegal ferrying of passengers by private vehicles today.
