KATHMANDU:

Kathputali — The Angel of the Himalayas, a film based on child psychology was screened at Jai Nepal Cinema on March 17. The film has been written and directed by Toshiaki Itoh from Tokyo University of Information Sciences, Japan. The film entwines in itself reality and folklore. It is based on the thought that one must work towards improving and preserving one’s own country and its heritage.

Scenaries around the Valley have been beautifully captured and it may a movie which will portray the beauty of Nepal well in the international scenario. Though in the current situation with all the turmoil going on, Kathputali is a movie that is slightly difficult to believe in, but it does have a positive message.

A feel good movie, it may work well with the international masses.
