Birgunj, January 21:

An unidentified gang looted Rs 2 million from M/s Laxmi Money Changer (LMC), Birgunj, after shooting at the staff on Thursday evening. Police said the gang shot at Birendra Gupta near Kanya Secondary School as he was going to Birta on a motorbike around seven in the evening.Gupta, who was hit in the back, is being treated in Raxaul, India. Gupta said two motorcycle-borne men were involved in the robbery. Police are conducting search operation in the city and interrogating other staff of the LMC.
