A disgruntled group took out furniture items and other goods from

CPN-Maoist’s party office located at district headquarters and set them on fire today.

The group of 50-60 people did so as the party high command had removed the name of Sunita Devi Raya of Salempur VDC 7 from the party’s PR list.

“We could not control the fire since information about the arson came later,” DSP Hanumn Shaha said. On Tuesday, District Party Office secretary Kumar Chaulagain of CPN-Maoist, had said that Salama Khatun and Sunita Devi Raya were selected under the PR system from Sarlahi district.
