Kalikot, July 27:

One person was killed and three were injured today when a truck skidded off the road and fell 400 metres down in Dailekh’s Rakam Bheltadi.

Police identified the deceased as Nirmal Thapa of Surkhet. The truck was heading to Kalikot from Surkhet.

Dipak Bahadur Shahi, employee of the Kalikot district administration office, and two unidentified persons were hurt in the mishap, CDO Bed Bahadur Karki said. — HNS
