KATHMANDU:

Three bands remain in the Sprite Band Challenge, Nepal’s first contest for rock stars.

Out of a total of 50 bands that had taken up the challenge, Alt F4, Anuprastha and Bequeath are the final three bands that will head-bang it out on stage soon.

The winning band will walk away with a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh and the opportunity to shoot a music video.

The final round will see the bands battle it out and showcase their talent in a studio performance of a cover song of the judges’ choice.

The Sprite Band Challenge has been running for three months now with the bands having wowed fans and judges alike at a recent live concert at the Jawalakhel grounds.
