Chandra Raj Bhurtel, political guru of the newly-elected Prime Minister, said his disciple would work as the agent of change in the country.

Bhurtel has wished the latter success in his endeavours. He hoped that Prachanda would win the trust of all Nepalis.

Prachanda had said yesterday that he had become successful by treading on the path shown by his guru Bhurtel. Bhurtel had taught Prachanda in Narayani Bidhya Shivnagar-based Mandir Secondary School for six years.

“I had taught communist philosophy to Prachanda. We used to live in the same place and I

used to give him books on communism. I think books aroused his interest in communism,” Bhurtel said.
