Claims that the remains of a Bigfoot had been discovered in America have turned out to be a big hoax. It was really a gorilla suit in a lump of ice. Last week, two men said they had found the body of one of the ape-like animals in a wood in northern Georgia, in June. A group called Searching for Bigfoot paid for the ‘body, but when they defrosted it they quickly realised it was just a rubber ape costume. Now they’re planning legal action against the men they bought it from.

It was big news when the discovery of Bigfoot remains was first reported. Bob Schmalzbach, from Searching for Bigfoot group, said realising the find was a fake was very disappointing. Bigfoot, are known as the sasquatch, and have been a subject of hoaxes for years.
