RBB loan for builders
KATHMANDU: Rastriya Banijya Bank (RBB) has introduced a new loan facility — Builders’ Loan — aimed at constructors, builders and real estate developers. The loan, which offers a unique basket of products including bank guarantee, equipment loan, vehicle loan, pledge loan, revolving overdraft and much more, will be available at highly competitive rates ranging from 7.5 per cent to nine per cent from RBB’s all 119 branches across the country. — HNS
DCBL Subhalabha
KATHMANDU: Development Credit Bank Ltd (DCBL) has introduced Subhalabha premium savings that attracts 6.75 per cent interest. “A customer of this account will get a free debit card and no commission will be charged on buying of travellers’ cheque,” said a press release. — HNS
SBI’s new branch
KATHMANDU: Nepal SBI Bank has opened its 17th branch in Baling. “The bank is in expansion mode. It is opening seven more branches in Kathmandu Valley and six more outside,” said a press release. — HNS
Workers protest
Itahari: Itahari bazaar went tense on Thursday morning after pro-Maoist workers shut the market to protest the decision of Itahari Chambers of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) to open shops on Thursdays in view of the time of festivals as against the earlier holiday on that day. The workers accusing ICCI of harmingtheir interests and threatened to close the market indefinitely. — RSS
